Joseph: I've always been interested in travel, but until a few years ago I just hadn't traveled as much as I would have liked. Then, for nine months beginning in the fall of 2006, I worked on an ocean liner and literally traveled the world. During that time I sent out emails to a large group of friends detailing my travel adventures. I got a lot of positive feedback from those emails and this blog is an extension of those writings.
